Whilst designed to give tour professionals a true test, the five individually designed tee positions allow players of all abilities the chance to enjoy quite an unforgettable golfing experience.

Covering 375 acres of stunning countryside with numerous water features, this challenging parkland course offers great options of “risk and reward”. Facilities also include a state of the art 300 yard driving range, covered and grass teaching bays together with practice areas.

Nordic walking is an exciting way to get out in the fresh air and explore, whilst burning off twice as many calories as regular walking yet due to the use of poles for the upper body, doesn’t require extra exertion.

It is suitable for everyone at any level of fitness and is great as a full body workout. We offer regular Nordic Walking classes at Rockliffe Hall – a great chance to explore the grounds and local area.

If you would prefer to explore the grounds and local area at your own pace, there are many footpaths and trails surrounding the estate and beyond.

Right on our doorstep you can enjoy a hike across the Yorkshire Dales or the North Yorkshire Moors offer breathtaking sights including the breathtaking High Force waterfall and challenging Roseberry Topping.

There are a variety of cycle routes in the area surrounding Rockliffe Hall - visitors are welcome to bring their own bikes. From gentle rolling country roads, to challenging mountain tracks, there is something to suit everyone.

The River Tees embraces the Rockliffe Hall estate and provides a perfect location for a spot of fishing. Here, on this natural meander, guests can expect to catch Trout and other freshwater fish. Booking in advance is recommended. Group bookings can also be taken.
