Meet Our PGA Professional Coaches

Tom Godwin – Head Professional
Tom has worked at some of the most high profile golf developments in the UK, including Abbeydale Golf Club in Sheffield, Gleneagles in Scotland and most recently at Queenwood, the exclusive private members’ club in Surrey. Tom has coached celebrities such as Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones and Hugh Grant and has Ryder Cup stars Darren Clarke, Thomas Bjorn and David Howells as regular playing partners. Tom is also a Level 1 certified Plane Truth Golfer, taught by Jim Hardy in the USA.

Jon Stacey – PGA Professional
Jon joined Rockliffe from Abbeydale Golf Club in Sheffield, where he began his PGA training in 2001 and worked his way up to head teaching professional. Jon brings a wealth of experience with him, in both the fields of teaching and retail management.

Tim Cockill – PGA Professional
Having admittedly been addicted to golf since the age of eight, the Sports Management graduate became a certified PGA professional in 2008. Having spent his early years at his local course, The York Golf Club, Tim joined Rockliffe Hall from Slaley Hall in Northumberland, where he spent two-and-a-half years as their golf services manager.

The rate includes video analysis and DVD to take away, all balls and refreshments.

Bespoke courses

In addition to individual tuition, the Academy offers a number of teaching programmes, including those for juniors, ladies, intermediate players and beginners. We can also tailor teaching programmes to suit your individual or group needs.
